Physique Pictorial is the first magazine overtly dedicated to bodybuilding with
an unstated primary purpose of erotic imagery primarily created by and for gay men at a time when homosexuality was the subject of cultural taboos. First printed in the 1950s, we have several copies and this one is from the summer of 1959.
